Description

General product information: Emulgol ES-12 machine oil is produced from highly refined mineral oil, ionic and non-ionic emulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors, and enriching additives.

Emulgol ES-12 does not contain: nitrites, chlorine, heavy metals, or phenols.

Application: The water-based cooling and lubricating emulsion Emulgol ES-12 is used for machining steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and their alloys.

Recommended concentration for Emulgol ES-12 (water hardness 15 °N) depending on the machining process and material:

- grinding - 3–5%

- turning, milling, drilling, reaming - 5–10%

- threading - 10–15%

Appearance of concentrate at 20°C: uniform, transparent, yellowish-brown liquid

Pour point: -12°C

Kinematic viscosity at 40°C: 30.5 mm²/s

5% emulsion in water (15°N): Appearance at 20°C: milky

Corrosiveness to steel, Herbert test: H0
