STC Repair Resin is an amine-accelerated, unsaturated polyester resin specifically designed for vehicle repairs. It cures even at temperatures below 10°C. It is used with fiberglass matting to achieve a medium-hard laminated surface. The cured product can subsequently be filled and sanded.
Instructions for use: The surface to be treated must be free of oil, dust, and grease. Rust and paint must be removed and the surface abraded (matted). Clean the surface beforehand with a silicone remover. Add 2% hardener to the product and mix thoroughly.
This paraffin-containing laminating resin is an orthophthalic-based polyester resin of medium reactivity, featuring special additives that improve the working environment—both during and after use—by reducing styrene emissions. It is thixotropic and utilizes an accelerator system that combines low heat generation with a relatively long gel time and a short curing time.
Includes a suitable liquid hardener!
