After the solvent has evaporated, DINITROL 81 leaves a transparent, hard and waxy film, which is ideal as a protective coating, but allows easy inspection of metal surfaces, reading labels, numbers, etc.
The product is suitable for protecting steel and other metal surfaces during storage and transportation, especially when a colorless, transparent and stain-free film is required. DINITROL 81 can also be used to protect varnished surfaces and is resistant to white spirit and similar solvents, e.g. for different types of tools, equipment engines and vehicles.
